Meeting times: last Tuesday of the month at 6:30PM in the Memorial Room of the Taft First United Methodist Church

PHP is a program, within the Methodist Healthcare Ministries of South Texas, designed to provide practical support through parenting workshops to help parents, guardians, and teachers learn parenting skills, so they will be more confident and competent in their roles as they nurture and work with children. 

It is a program based and built on the belief that parents are the first teacher and best advocates for their children. The program presents interactive workshops that focus on areas of health and safety, child development and guidance, family management, personal growth, and other topics that promote positive parenting skills. 

The workshops are advertised through the Taft School District, and are posted on the Church website calendar!

Childcare and a light meal are provided at every workshop!
